Issue Position

I believe a 21st Century education is the most important foundation we can give our children. Future job growth is directly tied to a well-educated and trained workforce. While a government-mandated one-size-fits-all approach continues to leave some of our children behind, increasing school choice options and opting out of unnecessary federally mandated education systems such as Common Core are both good first steps that I have supported. Preparing our students to perform well in their pursuit of higher education remains a top priority.
